The Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands (TLTI) is a lower-tier municipality situated along the St. Lawrence River between Kingston and Brockville. TLTI has a population of approximately 9,500. We are fortunate to benefit from the active participation of many citizens and organizations. With the interest of community members in Lansdowne, Lyndhurst, Rockport and Seeley’s Bay, a Partnership for Economic Enhancement and Revitalization Committee (PEER) was established in 2016. This Committee subsequently became a Working Group in 2023, to which it remains to this day. The PEER Working Group has identified concerns that its current structure, mandate, and relationship with the Township may not be effectively meeting its intended goals or the community’s needs. The Corporation of the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands (TLTI) is seeking quotes from qualified businesses to design and lead a visioning series to review the Partnership in Economic Enhancement and Revitalization (PEER) Working Group.
