The Township offers its citizens and visitors a number of opportunities for enjoyment of the outdoors and recreation at various park and open space facilities throughout Leeds and the Thousand Islands. Township-maintained youth play structures are located at the following sites (refer to photographs in attached file): · Jerry Park in Lansdowne (1 Jessie Street); · Kendrick’s Park off Short Point Road in Lyndhurst; · Centennial Park in Seeley’s Bay (Haskin’s Point Road) · Jonas Street Park in Lyndhurst (Jonas Street); and, · Rockport Recreation Hall grounds (Old River Road at Escott-Rockport Road). The Township is seeking the services of a qualified consultant to perform an inspection of all play structures at the above-noted locations, document findings in a report and provide recommendations and cost estimates for maintenance, repair and replacement of the infrastructure.
